Medieval Berching

Our city offers a lot worth seeing buildings, worth visiting events, versatile sports or a rich cultural program. The following suggestions are intended to serve as a suggestion: Berching has 883 first mentioned. The oldest church of the district is located 380 m above sea level in the picturesque Val di Sole and is a nationally recognized resort. Today you can still the oldest settlement core Berchings – the suburbs – admire. The resultant approximately 800-900 years ago downtown is the second settlement section of the City Berching. Ancient doors give the way to the vast marketplaces. The entire old town: the town hall, the town houses, the St. Lorenz church with altarpieces – probably early works by Albrecht Altdorfer and the Baroque parish church are testimony artisanal and commercial tradition of the community. The original and walkable fortification with its towers and gates offers a panoramic view of the city and invites you to a detailed guided tour. Our reception still holds more tips for you.
